PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 5-month-old female Chihuahua mix pup, about 22 pounds. Isadora was born at the rescue on 8/7/23. Sister to Byron, Morgan, Matteo and Felice. This is Isadora (Izzy)! Izzy is a Chihuahua mix with possibly some herding breed. She has been with us for almost a month now and she has quickly adapted to our home and routine. We have 3 other small dogs ranging in age from about 4 to 8 years old. Izzy is playful and very social with other dogs and people. She loves to play and run around with the other dogs, especially outside. Izzy is also capable of entertaining herself with toys when the other dogs don't want to play. She is getting accustomed to the leash and walking within the pack. She enjoys walks and is very good on car rides. We crate her at night and on car rides. She does very well when crated. She wants to be involved in whatever is going on whether it's humans or the other dogs. She would love a home with a fenced yard and other dogs to play with. She will need all the things a puppy needs: continued socialization and training. To request an adoption application, email [email protected] Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
