About Ruby

Ruby is the most loving dog. Her favorite thing to do is snuggle with her human. She also loves to play and show her puppy side. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but can also entertain herself, throwing her ball in the air and chasing after it. If her human is busy she is content to just lay on her dog bed chewing on a heavy duty dog toy. Ruby has a noisy playstyle and when she gets excited playing she does growl and grumble a lot. All in play, she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She will alarm bark if she hears a strange noise...no one will be able to sneak into her house uninvited. Those ears act like radars. She loves to ride in the car and will quietly sit and look out of the window. You can easily forget she is there, so you always need to check the back seat befoe exiting. Ruby is very intelligent and knows all her commands. She is very well behaved in the home. She is potty trained and knows how to use a dog door. She is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Ruby's ideal home would be with a dog savvy person, who knows the breed. A single level home is preferred as she has dysplasia. She had hip surgery last year, is completely healed up, and can run like the wind and play. Regular walks or even swimming would be great for her. We would prefer a home without young children as their fast movements can make her a little nervous. Another dog in the home would be fine, but she would also do great as an only dog.
