About Ruby

Ruby the a German Shepherd came into our care no more than a couple weeks ago. We are told her issues included people guarding and general insecurities. However, the stories surrounding her eventually being picked up by ACO are somewhat depressing, concerned citizens discovered her waiting alone in the exact same location for days in a row... as if waiting for her people to return. Sadly that was never to happen and it took some extra measures to capture this scared and insecure dog. Though I have first hand witnessed some grumbling on her part, that has become all but non existent and was likely a fear behavior. After being in a safe home, schedule meals, playtime, and interactions with other people and animals she is shaping up to be a wonderful, playful companion. She is still quite young, most likely under a year. Though her ears flop, it doesn't mean she's necessarily mixed (though we always encourage it with adopters conduct simple DNA tests on their pets. She is UTD on all medical needs (hw negative and on the monthly preventative, all vaccinations completed, and scheduled worming's as appropriate. She's a good dog, playful, and longing for a home of her own. Her adoption fee is $250 and the next step would be filing out an adoption application. Once reviewed we can set up a meet and greet.
