About Ronin

This is Ronin. He is a 3.5 year old male mixed breed (Australian shepherd/American bull dog). We have had him for 3 years. He enjoys being near his people, walks, and car rides. He walks well on the leash, but is excited initially. When he was around the age of 1.5/2 years old, he began resource guarding and mostly only listening to my husband. At the time we had three daughters. They have never felt unsafe around him because he is very protective and loving with them. He has however guarded them from unfamiliar people. This is why we suggest he go to a home without children. He is good with other dogs. He can be food territorial around unfamiliar dogs, but has never reacted that way to our other dog. He is crate trained and knows basic commands. He's very smart, he can be trained to be the dog that you want!
