Hey there, everyone! I'm Petey, a sweet adorable yellow Lab/ Black Mouth Cur mix fella. I'm an active dude who was born December 7, 2023. I enjoy playing and then snuggling with my siblings. At 3.5 months old I weighed 26 pounds, but I should weigh around 50 pounds when I'm full grown. Remember that the sweet-faced, lovable Labrador Retriever is America's most popular dog breed. We are friendly, outgoing, and high-spirited companions who have more than enough affection to go around for a family. Black Mouth Curs are big-hearted, versatile, brave, highly intelligent, and easily trainable (as long as training's consistent). We were bred for stamina and love to work, so it's best if you provide us with regular exercise such as daily long walks, Frisbee-throwing at the dog park, or participation in dog sports. I have a strong, fit, athletic appearance, and, like most athletic dogs, I flourish when both my mind and my body are stimulated. My momma Dolly was found and rescued as a pregnant stray, and my #snuggly-6 litter was born in foster care. Now that I'm ready for adoption, consider adopting me with one of my siblings, Bella or Teddy. That way we can keep each other company when you're at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today, and be prepared for me to cover your face with mushy puppy kisses. Petey will get his second round of puppy shots prior to adoption. He has been dewormed and microchipped and is on heartworm preventative. Adopter must sign a contract to bring him back to Miss Donna in July for him to be neutered at 7 months old. His adoption fee is $300 for puppies 9 months and younger. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
