Hey there, everyone! I'm Bella, a sweet, adorable Golden Retriever/ Catahoula Leopard Dog mix gal with the Golden's gorgeous red color and 'Catahoula' blue eyes and floppy ears. I was born December 7, 2023 and got my name because I'm the 'belle of the ball' wherever I go. That's mostly in the back yard, where I enjoy running around and playing with my siblings. At 3.5 months old I weighed 26 pounds, but I could weigh around 50 pounds when I'm full grown. Goldens are outgoing, reliable, trustworthy, and eager-to-please -- qualities that make us ideal family dogs. We take a joyous, playful approach to life and maintain our puppyish behavior into adulthood. We're energetic dogs who enjoy outdoor play. We can retrieve waterfowl for hours on end, so swimming and fetching are our natural pastimes. Catahoulas are the only dog breed to have originated in Louisiana, where we're used for hunting/ tree dogs, watchdogs, and stock dogs. Adults are well-muscled and powerful dogs who are renowned for their agility and stamina. We take our work seriously but are loving and loyal family companions at home. An active family who likes outdoor exercise like walking, jogging, hiking, or playing Frisbee at the park would be a perfect fit for me. My momma Dolly was found and rescued as a pregnant stray, and my #snuggly-6 litter was born in foster care. Now that I'm ready for adoption, consider adopting me with one of my siblings, Teddy or Petey. That way we can keep each other company when you're at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today, and be prepared for me to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Bella will get her second round of puppy shots prior to adoption. She has been dewormed and microchipped and is on heartworm preventative. Adopter must sign a contract to bring her back to Miss Donna in July for her to be spayed at 7 months old. Her adoption fee is $300 for puppies 9 months and younger. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
