He is 9 months old. Great pyrenees Anatolian shepherd mix. Neutered. Both parents were livestock guarding dogs and he has lived outside on a farm his whole life. He is very friendly though. In fact, that is part of why he needs a different home. He seems require a more stimulating environment than guarding livestock is providing. He gets bored and then gets destructive. We suspect he is responsible for killing several of our chickens, again, likely out of bordom. He has had some exposure to our sheep, but did not bother them at all though. He is very playful and loves attention so I think he would actually make a better pet than a guardian dog. He has been good with our children and with our senior female Great Pyrenees. He was getting into some intense dominace scuffles with his littermate brother, but that has improved since having him neutered. He is a large dog already and will be quite large when full grown so will need lots of space.
