About Takota

Takota is a very sweet boy who is just settling in at MCPAWS. This guy would much rather be snuggling with you at home! We will update his profile as we learn more about this handsome fella. Here is what his foster has to say about him: First, I just want to say - this dog is a LOVER. He made me feel so loved all weekend - head on my lap at all times. Over the weekend, Takota showed us exactly what he wanted - lots and lots of snuggles and affection. He spent a majority of the weekend on the couch. He and I took naps together. Sometimes he snores and it's pretty cute. He wanted to be close to whoever was on the couch with him. He loves to put his paw on you and I think it's his way of telling you he wants more attention and affection. He licks you a lot to show his love and affection back. As the MCPAWS employee had mentioned to me, once in a while when he's excited he puts his mouth on your hand/wrist and you feel his teeth. He doesn't bite down at all - it's very gentle. He slept on the couch all night without a peep both nights. We took 3-4 walks a day together and they all went really well. Takota doesn't pull a whole lot. Sometimes he kind of walks into you, but I think he's becoming more comfortable on leash. Takota is currently back at the shelter, he is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
