I have a teenager and a 6 yr old so she has been around kids and was fine I can't speak on her being around any other kids'| she's not able to run free anymore and she loves the outside.. great around kids she's fixed just looking to be a lazy baby for the rest of her days she loves being in the sun she's my daughters baby we have inside cats and she's fine with them if she goes into 'her area' outside I don't know about cats our cats know her and she knows them so they know to stay away when she's outside
