About Josie

Josie has been with us for a few weeks now after being surrendered by her previous owner due to no fault of her own. She is a sweet girl who is ready for a forever home! �%9D%A4 Josie has lived outside on a tether most of her life, but that doesn't mean that she wouldn't love to live inside! Infact, when she was with her short term foster, she learned to prefer being inside, and seemed to even catch on to potty training while there! Josie is one dog who is extremely treat motivated and is willing to do anything for a snack. She knows how to kennel herself up when asked, and walks great on a leash as well. Her only real fault is that she is reactive to other dogs. She did pass her initial dog test, but while in foster care, did not like the other dogs she was housed with. She may adjust to having other dogs around if slow introductions are utilized in her future home. Josie did live in a home with with kids around, and is very kid friendly! Josie is four years old and weighs 52 pounds. She has received her first round of vaccines, has been dewormed and has tested positive for heartworm disease in shelter. ��%90%BE
