About Mikey

Adoption Fee: $400
Chihuahua mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

#Sweet, #Affectionate & the #BestCuddleBuddy, Ladies and Gentlemen meet #Mikey. He's a year old #Chihuahua/#PharaohHound mix, who weighs in at 20 lb. Mikey is honestly just the sweetest boy who enjoys cuddles with his human, playing tug of war and fetch, & eating yummy treats. He also loves long walks, playing with his foster sister and making new dog friends. Mikey can be a little nervous at first, but warms up within minutes. Mikey gets along great with other dogs and cats. But he would thrive best in a home with an active family who can work off his energy and one that has another dog in the home for him to bond with. Mikey does great with dog centric kids that are 13 & up. He would NOT thrive in a home that cannot get his puppy energy out, nor a home with younger kids that cannot respect his boundaries. Mikey is 100% potty trained, 100% crate trained and great on a leash. Mikey even knows basic commands and is definitely food motivated- taking treats oh so gently. All Mikey wants in life is to play, cuddle and get lots of loving and pets! ***Adoption Requirements: No Exceptions*** - Fenced In Yard Required - No Kids Under 13 - Must have another dog in his forever home Mikey is currently up for adoption through Help Us, Help Them Dog Rescue. Mikey is currently on both flea & tick, as well as heartworm prevention. Mikey is currently being fostered within the metro Detroit area. ***Important Please Read *** If you currently see the dog posted, then they are still up for adoption. Our mission is to play an active role throughout our community by 'Lending A Helping Hand' to animals that were either abandoned, in shelters, unwanted, homeless, chained outdoors, or victims of prior abuse and/or neglect. Our rescue family has accomplished this by setting up each animal and their new families up for success by educating and consulting pet parents about what's in the best interest of their pets overall well-being, and creating an awareness in our community about the vital importance of fully vetting and spaying or neutering their pets. #HelpUsHelpThem #HelpUsHelpThemDogRescue
