About Nola

Nola is 7 years old and this little (I'm using the word loosely ok) lady has found herself in need of a home. Nola was brought into a CO shelter as a stray. Apparently, she was found hanging around someone's home. It was clear she had had pups recently (probably like 100 times) and was dumped when she was no longer needed. Well, that was a lucky day for Nola because through this turmoil, she found her way to MHCR. We are thrilled to have her! Nola is a great girl. She's house trained, very friendly with people, and does well in her crate (although she cries a touch). Nola has tested well with other large dogs but she isn't a fan of smaller ones . She'd be perfectly content being the solo object over humans affection. Nola, like many bulldogs, suffers from KCS (dry eye) and requires eye drops multiple times per day. This is a lifelong condition. She's been spayed and had a dental, the mommy makeover, and it's time for her to spread her wings and fly into her forever family. Nola's owners should be privy to bulldog medical needs and continue assisting her on her weight loss journey. A lean bulldog, is a happy bulldog!
