About Minnie

Adoption Fee: $100
German Shepherd / Great Pyrenees
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Minerva! (Minnie for short!) Like the Roman goddess she is named after, she is a very special girl! In a litter of six puppies, she was the only female! She just turned one-year-old (DOB 12-07-22). Minnie is an incredibly sweet girl, full of love and affection. She is a Shepnees, which is a cross between a German Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees. She is currently 70 pounds. She has a very gentle disposition. However, she does have a lot of energy and needs more space to roam than she currently has. If you are interested in adopting her, a decent size yard and a tall fence would be a must. The Great Pyr in her causes her to want to roam, and she would be able to scale a 4-foot fence. However, if you have a 5 to 6 foot fence with ample room for her to exercise and play, she would most likely not attempt to escape. She loves to romp and play, wrestle around, and sit curled up in your lap like a baby. (She definitely considers herself to be a lapdog!) Minnie walks well on a leash, is crate-trained and housebroken, and she knows basic commands. She is good with small dogs and probably would be with cats as well, though she's not been tested for that. She is very docile in terms of getting along with other dogs. The German Shepherd in her would make for a good guard dog, though she is not aggressive. If you'd like further information about her, please email, text, or call me, and I can answer any questions you may have. If you are interested in adopting Minnie, you would be getting a truly wonderful dog!
