Name: Ray Age: approx 3-4 yrs Breed: Beagle Sex: Male (20lbs) Location: Jefferson Davis Parish, LA Vet info: Ray was pulled from a small local kill shelter that had no power, there are no vet records. Ray was a stray so probably not up to date on vaccinations and he is not neutered. Owner report: Good Samaritan pulled Ray from a shelter that had no power, she was worried what might happen to Ray with the coming cold weather. Ray is house trained and walks good on a leash. Ray is outgoing and good with all types of people and dogs. Ray is living with two dogs ( one smaller than him), horses and cattle and is doing good.. Ray is not possessive of treats or toys. Besides being blind and a little underweight (he is gaining weight with the help of his rescuer) he seems healthy. Ray's rescuer says he adapts well, she says he picks up on sounds, voices and smells really quick.. He is a calm loving boy and just wants affection.
