About Vail

Vail! The first pup from our winter fun litter is Vail. Vail is an approx 3-4 mth old (reported DOB of Oct 8th, 2023) male jack russell/heeler mix, so we estimate he will be a small to medium mix at maturity. Vail is definitely the smallest of the litter, but can hold his own in a puppy wrestling match. Vail and his littermates joined us from a commercial breeding farm when they failed to sell. While it is not an environment we would want for any pup she seems to have been well kept and is very social with people. The puppies all loved the farmer's kids and were used to being around them. Vail is a typical happy go lucky puppy who loves ot make new friends, whether human or canine. Like most young puppies he is a dog who will need a committed adopter prepared to exercise him mentally and physically, continue his socialization with people and other animals and work with her on training, including housebreaking and basic manners. He is willing to please and seems to enjoy treats so training should be lots of fun. Vail's adoption fee will include his neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchipping.
