Flippy, our Happy, Talented Boi! Flippy is a Super Social Sunny Boi, about 8 months old, 40 poundish, deafie Aussie. The Flipster has flourished under the loving and dedicated care of his Foster. Funtime for Flippy has included some doggy games, beginning agility and rally moves, heeling practice, walking on leash, touch -he soaks it all up! Flipboi has all ready gathered some ribbons from participating in barnhunt runs and other fun dog games. This smart, energetic, loving, highly sociable, confident canine enjoys meeting new people, and learning new things and is looking for a lively family . Foster Mom raves about the lil guy: 'He's THE sweetest tempered guy ever-loves every person and pup! The funster enthusiastically frolics with the various resident canines! Flippy is an athletic Aussie who likes hanging out at agility trials when his foster sibs participate. The unflappable adaptable is eager to please. Cuddles and loving are Flippy favorites. Treats, tug of war, and balls are pup approved too. Flip LOVES adding to his bailiwick and pick ups new experiences lickety split! Sunny Bright Boi knows all sorts of things-'sit', down', 'touch', 'come', 'yes', 'no', 'stay' and more. Flippy enjoys walks and does well on them. He'd make a wonderful hiking or running buddy and would enjoy doggy sports. Flippy is doing well in his crate training. The responsive lad goes right into his crate and gets a licky mat as a reward. He much prefers being with people or other dogs over being alone. The Flipster is on track with house and potty manners. He's still a proper young pup-in-training. What do Flippy's Forever Folks look like? Anyone would love this lover! Flipster's Folks should be active, maybe with another fun, dog-loving canine or two. Dog savvy kids 7 and up would likely enjoy this fella. A fenced yard is preferred, but not necessarily necessary for an experienced and/or hands-on adopter who keeps their dog on leash and by their side. Before applying, potential adopters should take time to learn about the rewards, needs and quirks involved in welcoming a deafie into your life. Flippy is a match for a dog centric Person looking for a Heart dog. People who enjoy involving their dogs in life adventures. Deafies are reislient, and smart. Training and communicating with them is little different than interacting with a hearing canine-as long as you are hands-on, consistent, and patient. Australian Shepherds are a wonderful, social, smart breed who need to be with their People, interact with them and have things to do. Multiresidential buildings (such as apartments) and dog parks are not always a good fit. The best adopters give their new family member time to decompress and grow familiar with a new environment and routine. They see the importance of investing time to understand their dog and build a bond of trust and provide steady, reasonable guidance and training. An adopter commits to slow and monitored introductions with new people, especially children, other animals, and new places. If you have the time to give and are ready to experience all that comes with a puppy, the joys and the training, as well as the possible normal growing 'oopsies' like chewing, potty accidents, and puppy nips or nibbles, please apply with that in mind. Flippy is so eager to start his Forever-'I can't wait to meet my new Best Forever Friend. Walks, and play and cuddles all day!'
