About Ginny

This is Ginny she has been at the Vinton County Animal Shelter almost two years and is patiently waiting for a new home. Ginny is very sweet, athletic and full of energy. We know she enjoys humans. Ginny is a very smart dog who learns quickly and greatly benefits from routine. She is great about going back to her kennel after cleaning for breakfast or after any outing. We do not get a lot of training time with our dogs but in her time here she has become much better at walking on least and she has great recall. She is sweet and will make someone a great dog however her new person will need to have patience and be willing to work with her. Being at the shelter for this long is taking a toll on Ginny mental she is becoming depressed anytime she is out of her kennel. Physically we cannot keep up with her needed daily exercise. We believe Ginny is 2-3 years old. If you want to meet Ginny you do not have to live in Vinton County. Please call 740-596-9285, if we do not answer please leave a voicemail.
