About Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea, that's me! And let me tell you, my name rings true. I am the most affectionate, fun-loving dog out there! Once I bond with you, I'll give you all my love and loyalty. So, how did I wind up in this 'rescue' situation? Well, I was spotted roaming outside a horse barn several months ago. A group of good Samaritans saw how skinny and scared I was and decided to give me a real life. So, off to foster care I went! I was pretty shy at first, but I've really blossomed since learning about the kindness of humans. My foster family describes me as spunky, sweet and exuberant--I love showing off my best zoomies in the yard, joining in on walks and simply being around my humans. I dream of a loving owner who can bring me on their hikes, hunting trips and fishing excursions! By the way, I am both potty trained and crate trained, so my new owner won't have to worry about teaching me manners. Just be sure to keep me away from any cats, as they can get me a little wound up! With that, it's important to know that I adore other dogs and people of all sizes. Open up your arms to me and I promise to be the best girl ever.
