About Amari

Amari Amari is a female Hound/Lab mix. DOB: April 2023 Adoption fee: $125.00 I am a very smart girl. I recently returned to the shelter from a 10-week training course where I learned a few tricks and how to better walk on leash. I did well with a one-on-one trainer and once acclimated to a home new people I should resume where I had left off. The shelter is a busy place. I would enjoy a quieter setting. I am strongly recommended for a physically fenced in yard. I may require it pending your previous experience, location and/or other plans for containment. I play well with other dogs, but I am a strong girl and may be too rough for some. I would do best with a male dog over a female dog in my new home. I should be able to adjust to a dog friendly cat, using a slow positive introduction. I have not been around young children and may be more comfortable with children over the age of 10. I am a lovely girl and will make a great companion for the right person, couple or family.
