About Pistachio

Pistachio is the ultimate lap dog and the MOST loving boy! He also loves perching on the top of the couch so he can keep an eye on the house while also having a good snooze. Despite his estimated age of 10 years, Pistachio has lots of energy and likes to burst into a run around the yard. He is friendly with everyone he meets and is eager to meet new people and is completely housebroken with a dog door!! Pistachio was rescued by Cherished Tails after being loved by an unhoused person who was worried about Pistachio's health and turned him into an emergency clinic. After a dental to extract all of his rotten teeth, Pistachio has gained weight and is now a much healthier boy. He has had a history of high liver values but those values continue to decline with an over the counter liver supplement (Denamarin).
