About Olive

Olive is a 75 lb lap dog who has endless love to offer a new family.�%A0 She will do best in an environment where there are no little children, but she gets along well with most other dogs and cats.�%A0 Her favorite things to do include playing fetch and tug-of-war, frolicking in the snow, snuggling on the couch, snuggling in her bed and snuggling in your arms.�%A0 She does bark if she sees a delivery person or a turkey approach the house.�%A0 She is fully house trained and accustomed to walking on a leash, but sometimes does like to pull, so she needs someone strong enough to hold her. �%A0 We rescued her as a puppy 5 years ago from the South, and she is a very loving and loyal dog, but she has had a hard time since we welcomed a baby into our family almost two years ago.�%A0 She has snapped at him a few times, but fortunately, she has never actually hurt him.�%A0 We've worked with various trainers and have come to the deeply painful conclusion that she will probably be happiest in a new home.�%A0 She also has had two mast cell tumors removed and needs to be on inexpensive medication to prevent them from recurring; she has no problem taking her medication. �%A0
