About Nella (Canela

Nella was hit by a car (Dec'19), rehabbed by WSPCA, adopted Jan'20. She has nerve damage rt front leg, and holds that leg differently. It doesn't affect her mobility. She can be overstimulated in high traffic areas, but responds to training/treats. Trained via TWC at Proactive Dog Training in Cary NC (I also board her there as needed); experienced with ecollar and invisible fence. Had bilateral TPLO surgery (Dec. '22). Vaccines up to date. She is gorgeous! Nella would be a great fit for someone who wants a single loyal dog, and who can provide exercise by training, walking and/or who has land to let her run! She loves to play and is a good snuggler; sometimes she snores and makes us laugh. She is VERY smart and needs physical/ mental stimulation. She loves people, but I don't think should be around young children. She has lived w/ me, my son, and small beagle-mix for 4 yrs. For over 3 yrs she got along fine with our other dog, but developed a jealousy issue and instigates fights.
