About Hadley & Marston

INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE Marston and Hadley were bonded in December 2023. Hadley was rescued in 2018 from a park in Long Beach where over 100 rabbits were rescued from. Her approximate date of birth is 03/01/2017. She had a different husbun for four years until he passed away. Bonding her to Marston was easy.. Marston was dumped at Aldergate Dog Park in Menifee and we rescued him on October 4, 2022. He stood out like a sore thumb. He didn't run for cover like all the wild cottontails did. He was easy to rescue. It took us less than five minutes at about 5am that early morning. Marston has the agouti fur pattern but he is a domestic pet rabbit. He's got a little speck of white on the tip of his nose. There are tons of wild cottontail rabbits at the dog park. Cruel, ignorant people often dump domestic rabbits with wild cottontail rabbits thinking they can survive. Agouti rabbits are often overlooked as potential adopters feel they look too ordinary. It is very sad. Many agouti rabbits live their entire lives at rescues. Will you be the exception and consider this pair? The bunnies should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. They can have that as their home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Wire grid bottoms on cages/hutches and pull-out trays are not recommended. Towers, castles and tunnels are a preferred alternative to a cage/hutch. Please ask before you purchase supplies. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. They can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. Delivery is also available to the greater southern California area. Your local feed store, Tractor Supply and sometimes online retailers are a MUCH better option than a pet store.
