About Berkley

(DOB 8/1/2023). Berkely is ready to love and be loved! This youngster is looking for a happy, active home with another playful pup! His new furry sibling should be ready for antics and lots of puppy playtime. Berkeley has been a sweet boy and is just looking for the right family to take him home and love him fur-ever!! He has been doing well in a crate, but can scale a 3ft play pen, so be on the lookout for other 'amazing skills' he will learn and entertain you with as he grows up! At his young age, he isn't quite house trained but is doing really well. He goes out to potty 5-6 times a day and will need someone home most of the time to continue is routine. Berkley is highly motivated by food or treats which is awesome! It is a great age to teach and learn; Berkley is ready to have 'daily lessons' with positive reinforcement training to build his big brain and make him a well-behaved young adult! Berkley wants walks each day and getting out to see and do new things, meet new people, and have new experiences. He is a little shy still with strangers but warms up quickly. He loves to play, as well as being held/ pet. He is good with kids but due to his young age and teething period, he would do best in a home with older children where little fingers and toes wouldn't find their way into Berkley's mouth. He is sweet boy and on the submissive side. He shares his toys and loves to play, play, play all day! He would love a fenced yard to run around and romp in, but it is not a requirement. He loves being with his people so make sure have you plenty of time to spend with him daily! As part of Berkley's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
