About Munster

Ladies, forget those dating apps! This squishy Munster Monster will not disappoint in the love department. He is very affectionate, and lovable to his people. He just needs some time to get to know you, which is what good relationships are all about. Munster is simply a little hippo on land. You could not find a better mush ball. He does great in the car and loves going for walks. At 59 pounds, he has a stocky little body that makes him have the cutest little sprint ever. He's a truly great dog and will be a wonderful companion pet for the right person. But, who's the right person? Someone who can appreciate his sensitive nature when it comes to strangers. Munster has lost confidence, or possibly never had a chance to develop it. He also seems to become anxious in loud, busy environments. He will need a patient person to give him time to warm up but before long he'll be your red hot lover. Munster spent some time in a board and train program to help him meet strangers. Since a shelter environment is not the best place to meet new people, it's hard to practice the skills he learned. Munster requires an experienced dog owner who can help with his stranger danger by continuing socialization work. He should also live in a fairly quiet and calm environment. For siblings, he is best with the four-legged variety. No children please, but he can live with cats or with a calm, confident, and respectful dog. While in a foster home, he did well with this type of dog. Shelter staff will give you management tips to get things going on the right paw!
