About Roman

My name is Lexie and I am active duty Air Force. Unfortunate I am moving in June 2024. I adopted Roman when I was stationed in North Dakota in 2019. He was born December 5th 2018. I leave in June for 8 months of training in Georgia and I cannot bring him with me and I do not have anyone locally family or friends that are willing to watch him for that extended period of time. It pains me to have to make this profile, but I am hoping that he will find his forever home where his parent(s) have the time and space that he deserves. He is your typical husky; loud, talkative, goofy, and escape artist. He loves to play and will need a fenced in back yard. He does great with children, but does not like to be picked up or hugged so older kids would be ideal. He tolerates dogs, but would be better as a single dog. If there is another dog that other dog must know social cues/boundaries. He is pretty well trained (sit, paw, down, speak, stay) and walks best with a face lead. Please help me find Roman a loving home. I would want to do a home visit with him before making my final decision. He is 5 years old, neutered, and up to date on shots.
