About Everest

The word Everest calls to mind biting cold and impossibly large, insurmountable terrain. At 21 pounds, the coldest thing about Everest the pup is her nose. A mixed breed, Everest has pointed, perky ears and pretty reddish brown fur. Rather than chill out on her own, Everest loves to make herself comfortable in your lap and give kisses! This little lady is VERY smart. In the year she has been in the shelter, she has learned sit, lay down, how to weave through poles, roll over, give paw, stay, and give kisses. If there is a trick you want to teach, Everest can learn it! She is clicker trained, and very food motivated. She is a master of toy puzzles! She would also excel at any sport you may want to try! Everest's favorite toy is the Wobble Wag Giggle Ball. She can entertain herself for hours chasing it around the play yard! Everest was surrendered to ACSKC because she did not get along with other dogs in the home. After conducting a behavioral test of our own, we believe it would be in Everest's best interest to be the only pet in the home. She is 4 years old, house trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped! ACSKC is willing to transport Everest to an approved rescue or adopter!
