We didn't ask to be here at the Staten Island Care Center but we certainly are making it a place to grow! Can you help me find a new forever home? Is your house that place?! I lived with children in my previous home. As much as the kids in our home were our people, I do need a slow introduction to new folks, which is good, you get to know me and I get to know you. This means that small humans can be startling to me but I can adapt to teenagers as long as they understand I may need a little bit of time to warm up and show you my personality. This helps me feel my best, assured, and safe. I have been attending training classes while here in the Staten Island Care Center and boy oh boy, this puppy is surely learning each and every session. I am only 8 months old and already have shown a good aptitude for my lessons, but best of all, the folks at ACC will allow my education to continue through a partnership which will allow my adopter to take me to 7 training sessions (1 initial consult and 6 training classes) at Keyrak Dog Training located right here on Staten Island. These are the folks who along with the ACC staff have been helping become the best dog possible! Surely sounds like a win-win! I get to continue to show what a super-duper pupper I am and you get a great resource included with your adoption of me! You and I will have plenty of opportunities to show off my newly learned skills when we go out - I am a big fan of walks, jogs, adventures, and more! Keep me stimulated and it will keep me happy! As they say 'Happy Pup, Happy Home!' I am not one to just hang out all day, I need someone who's going to keep me active and allow me to have positive outlets for my Puppy Dog Energy.
