Copper was found as a puppy by a veterinarian I work for in Tyler Texas and taken to his clinic. Copper stayed in this clinic until he was an about year and a half old until one of the now, former employees, decided she wanted him. While in her care he was not well cared for, he wasn't fed properly, or loved properly and wasn't given a safe space to live. He was made to stay some nights at the vet clinic, some nights at her house, and I think that was very confusing for him considering he had never had a 'real' home before. About a month ago copper came into my care because the veterinary clinic I work for no longer wanted to board him and the previous owner could no longer care for him and so they were going to euthanize him. I couldn't let that happen. I've been caring for copper for almost a year now between working at the vet and having him in my home and he doesn't deserve to be euthanized. He deserves a loving home with people who can love and care for him and give him the attention he deserves. He's not always trusting of people at first and it takes him a minute to warm up most of the time but when he does he has the best most loving silly personality.
