About Precious

Precious was born 12/31/22. She is a spayed female Cane Corso. She is a purebred black and tan brindle mastiff gifted from the breeder to a local family that helped care for the puppies during flooding near Pajaro in Monterey County in California in April of 2023. The family that helped also lost their home and had to get a rental which landlord said mastiff breed not allowed. Precious is a direct rescue owner surrender and is being fostered. Precious has had some abuse and is fearful of men. The mastiff and other dog escaped fenced yard regularly and would approach farm workers in fields surrounding rental propety and we believe chased her or hurt her. Due to this she is very fearful of men,but has bonded with my husband within a few weeks with a gentle and caring approach. She immediately bonds with females and will protect her human female. She is a very sweet girl, walks well on leash, crate trained, spayed, potty trained and knows basic commands. Looking for a family with secure 6 foot fenced yard and that has gentle relaxed dog that gets along with giant breeds. She travels really well in car for hours. Adoption fee recovers the cost of the spay and microchip. Meet and greets available.
