About Odin

Odin is an active, very loved, happy 1.5 yo. He loves playing with his husky sister and would benefit from being in a home with other active dogs or active lifestyle. He is potty trained, an early riser, food motivated, loves carrots, bones, treats, balls and toys. Odin would do best in a home with a VERY experienced husky/malamute owner who knows this breed intimately. He lives around a lot of cats since I TNR but he will chase cats so no other small animals or cats for this boy. Odin would benefit from additional leash/harness training as he is still not 100% comfortable with it. I'd love to see him in a colder environment than Texas. Summer was brutal for him, even with his dog pool (he loves water) and limited outside time to prevent heat stroke exposure. He current diet consists of Taste of the Wild Salmon kibble with meat toppings and occasional fish oil, pumpkin. He loves Stella & Chewys frozen raw dinner patties as a treat or added to his bowl. I can see Odin benefiting from an experienced raw diet owner. ADOPTION FEE will be $300 but can be discussed depending on where the interested adopter location is. I will request vet references, home video of yard check (he will need a very secure/escape proof yard). Background; I rescued Odin from ACS when he was brought in by someone who found him in their yard with a head injury. That injury required one eye removal. He does just fine with his one eye. :)
