About Turkey

Boxer mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

1 1/2 months since Turkey made his trip from Alabama to PA to find his forever family. Maybe they are busy with the holiday season, or maybe they are looking and haven't found him yet. Until they come Turkey will enjoy the season with his foster family and lots of toys because he was a very good boy this year. But maybe you can share this post and help find them? He would love to start the new year in his forever home! %8F | Turkey is a 14 week old mixed breed (unknown). He currently weighs 20 pounds, and is expected to be medium/large when full grown. Turkey is a fun boy who loves to play with his siblings and explore as well as give kisses. He is a brave little guy and loves to explore and play around with the resident adult dogs. He loves all other dogs and people including kids! Turkey is young enough to learn to live with a kitty friend as well, as he hasn't shown a prey drive. Turkey is working on house training, and doing great going potty outside after his meals, but will need patience since he is still a young guy learning. He is up to date on all of his vaccines and a very healthy boy! Turkey will be waiting in York, PA, apply today and once approved you can meet him. He can't wait to spend the New Year with his new family! s We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
