Keila is a beauty... of what breed we do not know, but most likely a mix of husky, shepherd and other things. We know very little about Keila. She came to us from Yuma after the shelter became overcrowded and was forced to make some difficult decisions. Luckily she got out of there and into a foster home just in time! At 46 lbs and 2-3 years old, she's a young girl who has a lot to learn. She's very intelligent and given patience, love and training, she'll become the best version of herself. Keila loves people and dogs alike, especially little dogs, but her exuberance can be overwhelming. She responds well to praise, is active and is learning how to live with a cat. Keila tolerates being bathed but she isn't a fan; she does very well sleeping in her crate and taking a 'time out' when needed. It seems like she was never housebroken but is making great progress and is now almost fully housebroken (80-90% accident free). Keila will do best with an active family or person who has adequate time and patience to teach her what she should have learned as a puppy. She does well on a leash and would love to be a jogging or hiking partner and although we don't know her experience with children, we suspect she'd be a great family dog.
