PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 8-month-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, about 10.5 pounds. He is a G.O.A.T. puppy - or a kid, because he has the very sweet and funny personality of a baby goat. He is curious, playful, and energetic; also, he is very bouncy and likes jumping all over the place. He is a sweet boy who is very people oriented. Twinkie loves to snuggle and hug with his 'pack' and sleep next to them in a bed. He is playful and confident and loves attention a lot. Twinkie is playful with other dogs and would like a wrestling buddy. Twinkie is a smart and brave pup, but noise sensitive sometimes. He is a puppy, so his house training is a work in progress. He will need all the things a puppy needs: house training, leash walking and socialization. Children would be okay if they are gentle and kind. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
