About Miracle

Sweet Miracle is an 9 mos old, 45 lbs pup, who was dumped out of a car a few months ago and rescued by a senior Good Samaritan couple. Unfortunately, they were unable to keep her inside the house so she's had to live in a 10 x 10 kennel with a dog house and straw. Miracle is very friendly, playful, extremely affectionate, and energetic. When you first meet her, she can be submissive, but warms up quickly. The lady 'owner' used to only walk her when she could and the weather was nice. She tells us Miracle hugged her neck and waist, and just laid her head into her body when she came out to see her. Unfortunately, they were unable to give her all the attention and exercise opportunities she so desperately craved so her energy level can spike when she's first let out of the kennel or meeting new people. Since then, we have moved Miracle to a foster with a farm where she's able to run around and interact with other dogs wonderfully. We don't know how she is with cats. The previous foster had three grandchildren living with them from ages 8 - 14 and Miracle was wonderful and loving with them. She has great puppy energy and isn't a nuisance barker, and likes to chew on age appropriate toys and safe treats. She had an opportunity to go inside a friend's house recently and she settled herself in a dog bed while they watched TV. Miracle is working on potty training and would do well with a regular routine. She's also working on leash training. She gets very excited when she first meets you so it will take a bit for her to calm down so you can give her direction. She rides well in a car and was fine in the crate we had her in. Miracle would be a wonderful pet for an experienced pet family with children or an active couple, and would enjoy a canine playmate. She would love to go on walks, hikes, runs, and join you on vacation. She is a pleaser and just wants to be enjoyed and loved on. Miracle needs a family who have the time and patience to help her become the best dog she wants to be. Would you give this sweet love bug a warm, comfy, loving home in time for Spring?
