1. She's a treasure collector. She loves collecting random things (especially socks!) and tucking them into the corners of her kennel or in her bed. Fortunately she doesn't eat them or tear them up...she just likes to have them close. 2. She adores her foster brother Symon, a young male dachshund who she plays and snuggles with throughout the day. She seems to warm up to male dogs quickly and would probably be best being an only pup, or going to a house with a male dog. 3. She's a curious and sweet soul with a very high motivation to please. She's gone from being anxious and rowdy to being pretty chill and able to be off leash for short periods of time, responding well to commands and obedience training. She will need to continue this training in her forever home and have a strong pack leader in her person who is willing to work with a reactive dog. 4. She's got battle scars on her face and head from her troubled and abusive past, but where fear and open wounds used to be she's got a sweet smile and shiny fur growing in. 5. She's right about 3 years old and is on the small side weighing in around 60lbs. 6. Jules came to us not seeming to know how to be in a house, what a dog bed was, or with potty training. She's now fully potty trained (she got it within 3 weeks!) and loves her bed, crate, and toys. 7. She is alert and will let let you know if someone is around, but she's been doing great with meeting new people and we're starting to begin introducing her to new dogs which is her toughest challenge. The vet who checked her out when she was first first found abandoned at a truck stop thought she may have been used as a bait dog for fighting so even though she loves other pups, she's still very afraid meeting or seeing new ones.
