About Buddy

Buddy [1 year old?] was abandoned in the desert with his little brother Spot (also at our rescue). A Good Samaritan saw them being dumped and picked them up. Sadly this person was an animal hoarder, and when she was then evicted from her rental property, Buddy and other dogs were abandoned. Buddy is very laid back, to the point we actually thought he might be deaf when he first came to us. He can also be stubborn, but thankfully he is very food motivated, so with treats in hand anything is possible. He can be food possessive, so we feed him separately so that everyone can eat in peace. He can also be a little bossy with Spot (his little Pittie pal he attached to), but has not been this way with the other dogs he shares a living area with (4 in total). These behaviors are all trainable in his new home. He enjoys tough chew toys and walking on the leash, but will need training in his new home.
