Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Indianapolis, IN Meet Duggy! He is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd mix (other breed is unknown) and weighs 32 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to days on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Duggy will bark at strangers for a few minutes, but then gets excited. He is good with cats! No kids, due to his reactivity. He does well with the owner's 2 female dogs, but hasn't really been around male dogs. He will show some resource guarding and fear aggression. Duggy bit the owner a year ago, because her hands were in the crate. He also bit a teenager a year ago, after she tried to remove a toy from his mouth. He recently bit his owner's boyfriend on 12/6 as a result of crate destruction, due to the rain. He was trying to fix the door on his kennel and Duggy bit him. The owner is surrendering him because he is very reactive, anxious, and territorial. He is afraid of storms and loud noises. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Duggy, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Duggy.
