Rowdy, Best Boi! Rowdy is a fun and fab handsome approximately 2-3 year old black tricolor Aussie mix bobtail boy with a soft, feathery coat. If you're looking for a best bud, always by your side bestie-Rowdy's got you. The good boi has oodles of energy, loves to please and a owns a super-sweet, lovebug personality! The enthusiastic pupper enjoys going places and being a part of his Person's life. Foster Mom says 'Rowdy loves to be involved in whatever I have going on-treks by the lake, relaxing-he just wants to be your companion and near you.' Walks, healthy treats, and pets are a few of his favorite things. After a day of play, Rowdy settles by his Person for some quiet hours. The bright boy is great with his fellow four footed foster friends (other dogs, felines too). Rowdy even good naturedly encourages the senior Aussie gal to romp and frolic a bit. Since Rowdy doesn't share well, noms and noshes need to be given separately from any other home fur buds. Forever folks can work with the Rowdster-he's very responsive to consistent, focused monitoring and management. Rowdy does very well in his crate and has good boi house manners. He needs recall work-he tends to come...eventually. What is Rowdy's Best Forever Friend like? The boi is looking for an active, adept Someone to be his bosom buddy and coach. Rowdy has an exuberant, life is good temperament! If you have the same life is good outlook, want a dog to be a key part of it, and have the energy and time to devote in training -you may be the One for Rowdy. With occasional jump-ups, and some resource guarding, kiddos 8 and up would be first rate mates. Another playful Aussie size and playmate may be great. Rowdy seems to prefer lady fur friends most. Felines are fine. A fence is preferred, but may not be necessary for an experienced dog family. Multiresidential buildings (such as apartments) and dog parks are not a good fit for this pup. The best adopters give their new family member time to decompress and grow familiar with a new environment and routine. They see the importance of investing time to understand their dog and build a bond of trust and provide steady, reasonable guidance and training.
