About Perseus

Pupdate: Perseus completed a 3 week board and train and he did amazing. The training staff all fell in love with him. His trainer says he is going to be 'awesome'. They would like to see him go to an experienced owner due to his size and intelligence. Basically, a confident person. Not a pushover or anxious person. The trainer says he is VERY very smart. He lacks body awareness and doesn't know how big he is. But he picks up commands very quickly and is very responsive. Perseus needs to go to an adoptive home asap so that he can go straight into a stable environment and the trainer can work with his adopters on what he knows. This handsome boy came to FBS from the pound when his owner surrendered him at just 1 day old!!!! We do not know breeds for sure, only what we were told, but his mother is large and he is chunky and growing quickly! He deserves a loving forever home. Perseus is available to foster to adopt when 10-12 weeks old. Adoption finalized once neutered through the rescue. Pupdate: Sweet Perseus was adopted and unfortunately they moved to SC and the other dogs in their family home were attacking him and efforts were not made to keep him safe and unharmed so he came back to rescue. Perseus is a sweetheart. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS current adoption fee is $175 (additional donation welcome as our expenses are much higher) and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is preferred
