About Tom

At the Trenton Animal Shelter since July 19, 2022, Tom is in need of a special person who can be his savior and a true hero. Tom is a strong and exuberant dog, sometimes displaying forceful behavior and mouthing when excited. However, with the right hero, he has the potential to learn proper manners and discover the goodness in people. Tom's story is one of abandonment by his previous owner, which initially left him devastated. We urge you not to let Tom's tale go untold. He has the potential to flourish if someone with a compassionate heart and a welcoming home steps up to be his hero. The shelter welcomes fosters, and they particularly encourage short-term fosters for weekends or weeks to help Tom adjust and thrive.
