About Smokey

Smokey is a five to six year old altered male Tibetan terrier mix. He came to my household as a rescue. He was very underweight and heavily matted. With some grooming care, love, and good nutrition he is now healthy and ready to find a forever home. He is very protective of his person and a great Watch Dog. He prefers females, demonstrating possible abuse trauma with men. He is well mannered, but very clingy. He does not like to be separated from his person if possible so he needs a home with an owner who is present most of the time. He is currently home with three other small dogs and gets along okay, but would clearly prefer to be the top dog. He will do best in our home without other dogs.
