About Odie

Hey I'm Odie! I'm currently being fostered from Charlotte animal care and control. I'm a 1-2 year old lab pit mix (maybe some boxer thrown in there). I'm a really happy and friendly boy with puppy energy (I like to play hard and then snuggle on the couch). I'm house broken and working on my crate training. I like to exercise and play otherwise I get bored, so that's why I'm learning the crate. I LOVE the resident dog here�'�|.he's tolerating me but I annoy him sometimes because I show too much love. There's an indoor/outdoor cat here I'm very curious about. I like to run after her in the yard but I just want to play. She's slapped me a few times. I'm cautious and curious about her when she's inside too. She's slapped me here as well. I LOVE walks with my front clip harness but sometimes want to play tug of war. I'm working really hard on not doing that. If treats are around I'll do anything. I can't sit, drop it and focus. I'm working on 'leave it' when this lady says I need to give my foster bro a break. Open your car door? IM IN! Where are we going??? Just clip me to something because I'm excited for whatever social outing we are going to!! And I'll be good there too! Other dogs? YES! Kids? YEA! I just want to love and kiss everyone and everything. Let me show you! I'm still young and need activity. I want a person or family to love on. Another active sibling would be awesome! I'll also keep you super warm at night. Funny things about me: -I'll keep jumping back in the tub after bath -I like to lick newly applied lotion (I'll stop if you tell me) -I have a big head and it knocks into things -sometimes I alligator roll when on leash�'�|it's funny the first couple times -I'm kinda gassy (sorry�'�|.maybe this lady gives too many training treats)
