About Gordo

Jumpscare! What is that thing?! We promise it's a dog. A hairless dog with a bum eye-but a dog, nonetheless. Introducing Gordo, a Pekingese mix who has been through some pretty tough times. Pulled from the euthanasia list at Animal Care Services with a myriad of health issues, we'd consider him a pretty lucky guy. Gordo had been suffering from mange mites, overgrown toenails, a bum eye and a persistent cough. To help, we started him on Nexgard for his skin as well as antibiotics for his 'cold,' trimmed up those nails and cleaned out his eye. As of now, we are not sure if the eye will need to be removed as it doesn't seem to be causing him any pain. But he sure will look cute with an eyepatch! For little Gordo, it will just take a few weeks for his hair to grow back. So put on those rose-colored glasses and listen to what we have to tell you about his personality! This boy is easygoing, playful and social. He's a silent shadow who loves being around people-we don't think we've ever heard him bark. He joyfully bounces around after balls when they're thrown, will curl up on anything soft and even shows interest in other dogs. With his warmhearted nature and fun bursts of energy, Gordo will make a charming addition to any home. Apply to meet this scruffy scoundrel and watch him transform into the dog of your dreams!
