About 'Hennessy'

Hennessy is an almost 6 year old Boxer/Pit Mix who was abandoned at an elderly/disabled couples home. Previous owners who abandoned the dog had abused him. He has scars from dog fighting. 'Henny' is very affectionate to his 'people'. He loves to play tug, chew bones, go for car rides, and to hug. He is house broken and crate trained, follows some commands (sit/stay and finger snapping). He is good with women, children, and cats (unsure of other dogs because of the previous fights he's been in). He is afraid of the dark and is fearful/aggressive towards most men and strangers, but warms up with treats and walks. He displays signs of social/separation anxiety. He is currently un-neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has a clean bill of health other than possible arthritis.
