About Addie and Piper

Everyone give a big WELCOME to Addie and Piper, a bonded pair of beautiful Mexican Xolos looking for that perfect place to call home. These 2 little girls are absolutely ADORABLE - Addie is the darker nugget, weighing a whopping 6 .6 lbs while Piper is the light colored cutie weighing all of 4 lbs...and both girls are 4 years old. Piper and Addie came from a breeder that was turning a new leaf and closing shop so of course we said yes to helping to find them a forever home! How could we resist???!!! Addie is the 'matriarchal' one of the pair. She grooms little Piper and puts her body over her if she feels a threat coming on. She is also the most adventurous of the 2 and follows her foster mommy everywhere. Both little angels are lap dogs once they warm up to you-literally!!! Piper will snuggle up in the corner of your chair, no matter how small the spot. She is the shy one and will venture on her own only when foster mommy is nearby. Both girls are afraid of men, but with a slow introduction and patience on foster dad's part, we are making progress. They have excellent house manners and are relatively pee pad trained ( although they have yet to figure out the difference between a piddle pad and a throw rug)---but no worries...these 2 munchkins are smart and quick learners.
