About Julieta

Available for adoption in Pittsburgh PA Julieta is a special little lady. She lived her entire life in a puppy mill, giving birth to litter after litter. She came to ASF after her owner didn't think she was worth anything anymore. Etta is so much more than how her life began. She is one of the sweetest pups we have ever met. She is incredibly anxious and scared, but wants to give love and be loved. One of her foster mom's favorite things is her sweet, tiny kisses. And when you stop petting her she puts her paw on your arm to keep going. She is about 4 years old and petite, coming in around 40 lbs. Etta does well with the other dogs in the house and doesn't bother the cats. She is still learning how to be a dog, but she has made a lot of progress! She is housebroken, but does love to chew things. She is very comfortable in a crate and treats it as her safe space. Etta is willing to meet anyone in the hopes of finding her furever home, but her ideal home is one without adult men, as she is very scared when they are near. She is very nervous and shy around most people, but warms up to women. The few times she has been around children she is very sweet and patient. She is very timid and she has not shown any aggression towards anything. Etta's future parents need to be patient and willing to work with her. But Julieta's foster parents will tell you that she is well worth it!
