About Bella

Meet Bella. Bella is a sweet soul and loves all dogs and cats she meets. She is definitely a spunky little older lady. She tries to keep up with her foster sister that is 2. We prefer someone that will be home a majority of the time. She does have a little separation anxiety, but once she gets used to your schedule she manages very well without medication. Bella must be given apoquel twice daily due to allergies and someone that is familiar with keeping allergies/medical in check would be preferred. She came into rescue with major skin problems and we want to be sure her new family knows what will be required to keep her healthy. Bella was at one point very emaciated and has came a long way. To have gone through so much she is the sweetest soul. Bella is extremely healthy otherwise for a senior pup of her age, as the vet estimated her a few years younger. Her foster mom thinks other dogs of average or low energy will be better for Bella, because she will try to keep up with a higher energy dog. Bella looks like she is mixed with several breeds and is very petite. We do require a veterinary reference prior to adopting Bella and brief home visit.
