About Ginger

Rabbit
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE Ginger was rescued on October 7, 2023. She is one of twenty rabbits rescued from a neighborhood in Murrieta where a resident released rabbits into the streets to fend for themselves. A sweet confection of a rabbit, with heavenly soft orange fur, Ginger is impossible to resist. One look in her beautiful eyes and you'll want to scoop her up in your arms and cover her with kisses. And that's okay with Ginger! She's as affectionate as she is adorable. She loves to be snuggled and petted. She really likes the kitty cup bed to hunker down in while you're loving on her. She's the perfect combination of sweet with just a bit on spunkiness too! She is a small rabbit weighing in at 3-1/2 pounds. Her estimated date of birth is June of 2023. She was spayed on October 16, 2023. Ginger should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Ginger can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
