GUS is affectionate and playful. He will make a great cuddle buddy, hiking buddy, family dog, and lifelong companion. He has one blue and one brown eye :-) His adoption fee includes his neutering, vaccines, deworming and microchip. Born August 12, 2023 on one of the reservations we work with. Mom is a medium sized (40#) yellow lab mix with brown eyes. * You must live in our adoptable area (Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, White Rock, Los Alamos areas of New Mexico) and * You must have another friendly (male or female) dog under the age of eight * Please, no children under the age of eight If you are searching elsewhere for a dog/shopping please let us know this when you inquire. We look forward to meeting you and your fur babies and bringing a new member to your family! Desert Paws Inc Animal Rescue of New Mexico has been rescuing animals since 2009. We are a non-profit 501c3 organization. Our primary work is on three pueblo Indian reservations in rural New Mexico. We do emergency veterinary services, spay/neuter, preventive vaccines, flea/tick, deworming for both the animals that are neglected and abandoned and need forever families as well as for the animals of tribal members.
